Prof. Dr. Justus Christian Roux
Prof. Dr. Justus Christian Roux of the Department of African Languages
at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa is spending a sabbatical
at IMS up till 30 November 1994. His research stay is sponsored by the
Alexander Humbold Stiftung. His research pertains to Wigner Distribution
analyses of click sounds in African languages.
He is director of the Research Unit for Experimental Phonology at the
University of Stellenbosch (RUEPUS) which focuses on the interaction
between phonetics and phonology as exemplified in Bantu languages,
Afrikaans and South African English.
