Travelling by train

From Stuttgart Hauptbahnhof (main station) take the S-Bahn S1 (Herrenberg), S2 (to Filderstadt), or S3 (Flughafen). You have to buy a ticket for 2 zones. Leave the S-Bahn at stop "Universität". Take the station exit in the direction of travel. Turn around after leaving the station -- you are standing right in front of the computer science building, where the workshop will take place.

Travelling by plane

From Stuttgart Airport take the S-Bahn S2 (to Schorndorf) or S3 (to Backnang) to the S-Bahn station "Universität" (approx. 15 min). You have to buy a ticket for 2 zones.

Travelling by car

Depending on the direction you come from, leave the A8/A81 at the "Stuttgarter Kreuz" in the direction of the city centre of Stuttgart (B14). Take the third exit directly after the tunnel and turn left at the following junction. Parking directly at the venue is only possible if you are staying at the Commundo hotel. Otherwise you will have to park on the opposite side of the campus, which is not more than 5 minute walk away from the venue (see map for details).

Accommodation

A large variety of hotels of different classes is available in Stuttgart. The Vaihingen campus of Universität Stuttgart, where the workshop is located, can be reached with public transportation in less than 15 minutes.
