IMS participation in a new Collaborative Research Center at Tübingen University

At the University of Tübingen, a new Collaborative Research Centre is launched with the participation of the IMS. As part of the SFB 1391, Other Aesthetics, Angelika Zirker (English Studies, University of Tübingen) and Nils Reiter (IMS, University of Stuttgart) have jointly applied for a project on annotation and quantitative analysis. The project is dedicated to aesthetic features of texts and thus explicitly non-structuralistic approaches, and is located in the field of Digital Humanities. It thus complements the projects and activities of the IMS in this field and is closely linked to the Centre for Reflected Text Analytics (CRETA).
