Subject

I am a Ph.D student working on the SemChangeMWE project, supervised by Apl. Prof. Dr. Sabine Schulte im Walde. Broadly construed, my research interests include:

  • Dialectal and diachronic linguistic variation
  • "Potentially Idiomatic Expressions" and semantic composition
  • The legibility and implications of corpus construction / annotation decisions
  • Discourse and Conversation Analysis
  • Experiment design for linguistic data collection (e.g. so-called 'serious games')
