I am a first-year Ph.D student under the supervision of Apl. Prof. Dr. Sabine Schulte im Walde (Uni Stuttgart) and Prof. Dr. Alexander Fraser (LMU). 

My Ph.D is funded by the Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes and the MUDCAT Project at Uni Stuttgart. 

My work focuses on figurative language in NLP, more specifically enhancing the automatic translation of metaphors by modeling and combining mono- and cross-lingual discourse conditions.
