October 2, 2015; Jason Utt

The German Society for Computational Linguistics & Language Technology (GSCL) has awarded Glorianna Jagfeld the GSCL-Prize for her Bachelor thesis "Towards a Better Semantic Role Labeling of Complex Predicates" which was supervised by the previous Junior Professor at IMS, Lonneke van Plas. The thesis work was also presented at this year's student research workshop at NAACL (Link to paper). The GSCL-Prize is awarded bi-annually and comes with a 400€ endowment. This year's prize was the first to be awarded in two categories (Bachelor/Master).

Congratulations!
